  EchoStorm Worldwide, LLC has an exciting career opportunity in its Suffolk, Virginia location for a Software Engineer. The successful candidate will operate in a fast-paced engineering environment that will allow the creativity of new opportunities as well as the ability to contribute to the dynamic organization in the workplace on a daily basis.

  In this position, the Software Engineer will design and develop software for DoD, DHS, and commercial applications. Desirable areas of expertise include Java EE, AJAX technologies, relational databases, and SOAP web services. Position also requires familiarity with an IDE such as Eclipse or NetBeans. Tools such as Maven and Subversion would also be beneficial. The chosen candidate will manage project timelines and work with other team members to deliver a variety of software products. The position also involves the analysis of software defects and participation in the overall testing process through peer reviews and unit testing. Responsible for providing documentation for software as required by the software development process.

  Education and Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience.  Bachelors Degree required.  Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one is required.
